Senior Pastor James Lee Busby is a man after God’s own heart. With the character of being a humble man, Pastor Busby began preparing himself for the call on his life, born in Logan West Virginia on February 17, 1966 to the son of an Evangelist preacher. Pastor Busby married his childhood sweetheart on December 17, 1984. Pastor busby received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1992 and was called to become the minister over children church and youth pastor with his wife Pam by his side, after 13 yrs. as youth pastor the Lord called Pastor Busby to become senior pastor of a local church in 2005 (Cross and Crown Family Worship Center) and as in time past, he immediately began to share the truth of God’s Word with all who would give ear to hear.

God in His infinite wisdom strategically prepared Pastor Busby for such a time as this, promoted him to serve in the ministry under anointed men of God. I was called by God and elected by man to become the Senior Pastor of Cross and Crown Holiness church, where he now serves. Pastor Busby and First Lady Pam Busby reside in Theodore, Alabama with their sons Jamie and Dylan Busby serving faithfully in the ministry.

Pastor John E. Bouie, a minister of God, and the founder of Greater Works Ministries of Mobile Alabama. I am so proud to be chosen as a servant of God, He summoned me into the ministry of hope and reconciliation in year 2013. I have been married to my soul- mate Annette Nelson- Bouie, for over 30 years to date, from this royal union we have one daughter Paris Jackson (Jeffrey). I am not new to the work- of ministry; I have had the opportunity to service as a Deacon, Executive Financial Advisor, and work side-by-side with the pastor and ministerial staff for over 30 years. I am eternally grateful for this experience, because it has groomed and nurtured me for my unique call into the ministry. I am thankful for the support, and continued support of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church.

Greater Works Ministries of Mobile and Cross and Crown Family Worship Center came together in 2017.  Our ministry is a helping and supportive ministry, with a vision to “Improve the lives of individuals in the thru faith, friends, and families”.

Elder Bouie was spirit-led to go outside the church walls to establish an Outreach Ministry to ensure that (both) the spiritual and physical needs of believers were met by providing programs that meet the holistic individual’s needs. And as a result of reaching out to the community, and connecting with families he would not only be helping the “Christian life Survive but a Community Thrive”!  we are a small congregation with committed members willing to see the vision come to past.
